Shelene & Siaosi

I must admit that I was kind of anxious for this day to come. Being that this was my first wedding at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I’ve always been intrigue with it’s magnificent architecture. Shelene and Siaosi had their wedding ceremony at the Oakland LDS temple on 12/08/2007. Since photography was not allowed inside the temple, we were only able to shoot on the temple ground. It was a clear and chilly day but beautiful nevertheless. Shelene and Siaosi were among the sweetest, most genuine and nicest people I have ever came across. Later when I got a chance to mingle with their families a little bit then I realize where they got those traits from.

This was our very first glimpse of the married couple as they are exiting the temple.

Siaosi is from Tonga, therefore, we were treated to many traditional ceremonies and dances.

Tritia & Johan

So I’ve been kinda busy just trying to catch up. I finally had the chance to work on Tritia and Johan’s wedding. Here are just a few teasers. Tritia and Johan got hitched on 11/17/2007 at the Ebell Club in Long Beach. They were a joy to be around. Tritia was looking so sweet and beautiful in her dress next to her slick groom.

Shootshop…The Image is Found!

I was lucky enough to be 1 of 16 photographers to attend the Shootshop with Nate and Jaclyn at The Image is Found last Wednesday. It was quite a memorable experience. I was touched by how open, honest, and passionate Nate and Jaclyn feel toward their craft. I also had an opportunity to meet and talk to some really awesome photographers in our group. I haven’t felt this inspire since photography school. Thank you Nate and Jaclyn for taken us in with open arms and not afraid to show us some really cool tricks.

Here is Nate doing an impression of someone who just swallowed his gum :)

For lunch, Nate and Jaclyn had KFC delivered to us via location. Just kidding! This poor guy was just an innocent bystander.
