A nice surprise…

Woke up this morning to check my email and I was pleasantly surprise to find out that I was placed 9th in the quarterly contest held by the AGWPJA (Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association) under the “Engagement Portrait” category. Just want to share my excitement. It’s going to be a good day! Happy Hump Day everyone!

Open House at Tivoli Too

Today I was invited to attend Tivoli Too for their open house in Laguna Beach. It was an opportunity to hang out with my future wed couple Debbie and Chuck. Tivoli Too offers beautiful European countryside setting for your wedding party. They also have really good food and a great crew.

Peter & Nhi Wedding

Peter and Nhi got hitched on Feb 9th. Peter and I have been friends for a very long time. We used to “kick it” back in the days…if you know what I mean . For the last couple of years we have been busy with our personal lives although we still kept in touch. So when he asked me to photograph him and Nhi on the day of their wedding, I was estatic. They had a very simple and intimate ceremony at home which mainly consisted of family members and some close friends. Afterward, we headed out to do their bridal session at a friend’s picturesque apartment complex.

Congratulation to Peter and Nhi. You guys deserve each other so much. I am honor and grateful to be your friend.

Mary & Phi E-session at the Fun Zone, Newport Beach

It was a perfect Saturday. We went down to the Fun Zone in Newport Beach for an E-session. Mary and Phi were so easy and so much fun to be around. They were down for everything that I had planned for them. Here are some photos to prove it.

Usually, I would steer clear from jumping shots. However, Mary and Phi had assured me that they are professional jumpers therefore I had to see it for myself .

We had so much fun on the E-session that I wouldn’t really mind doing it again. Oh well, we’re going to have to pick it up again in November at the wedding .
