Shelley & Jordan…Granada Hills

March 8th, 2008 marked a very-very-very special day for Shelley and Jordan. It’s the day they exchanged their lifetime promises to one another in front of their family and friends. It’s also the day they became husband and wife. Together they are such a fun, sweet, and loving couple. Their wedding day went extremely well with the help and direction of Lynda Mort from Romantic Moments. Here are some of my favorite images from that day.

Hands down my favorite image of the day.  This beautiful image was captured by Michael Andrew, my second shooter.  I was blogging in a rush and didn’t realize it.  Michael, I am very sorry about that.  You have captured a timeless moment.

WPPI…Las Vegas!

Just in case anybody was wondering, I was in Las Vegas last week for the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) trade show. It was my very first time at WPPI, therefore, I was a bit overwhelmed. And on top of that, it was in freakin’ Vegas. Any happenings in Vegas is like a cherry on top, right! Are you guys with me? Anyhow, I am finally able to catch up on some of my work. On another note, I am very honored that Amanda from InTheNowWedding included me on her list of favorite photographers. For those of you that don’t already know Amanda, she is a super talented wedding coordinator/graphic designer/florist/wife and now photographer. Just want to express my appreciation for the shoutout. It brings me great joy to see that you’re having fun with your camera and new processing techniques. Keep up the good work. Last, here is a shot through my hotel room window.

Dana & JD Engaged….Los Angeles Union Station

I’ve been looking forward to shooting Dana and JD’s engagement session since the first day we’ve met. We just seem to click in so many ways. Dana and JD had a very clear idea of what they wanted to do for the engagement shoot. Finally, this past Sunday we went down to the LA Union Station to execute some ideas. I must admit we had so much fun running around LA to grab these shots. It just felt like we were on a short road trip. Here are some of my favorites.

This is our new friend Rocket. We met him while shooting in the subway. Rocket is absolutely adorable in person and a sweet English gentleman.

Dana and JD, you guys are such troopers. Thank you and I look forward to your wedding in October.

Jennifer & Travis E-session at The Mission, San Juan Capistrano

I met up with Jennifer and Travis at The Mission in San Juan Capistrano for an e-session on Saturday. Although it was overcast day, there were quite a few couples that were also there getting their e-sessions done. Every where we turned, there were photographers and couples setting up shots. Therefore, we opt to stay clear from the main paths and kept our session on the back side of The Mission.

Rumor has it that Travis has this tickle spot on his ear. So Jennifer volunteered to do a demonstration.
