Tina & Patrick, Palos Verdes Estates

Tina and Patrick were married on July 6th at Palos Verdes Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates. I scored again with another super classy and amazing couple. The location was majestic. The day was so perfect and filled with emotional moments. Tina’s parents actually are long time friends with my parents, therefore, we kinda knew each other growing up. Once again, Micah Gilmore aka Boy Wonder :) came out to second shoot for me. Here are a few of my favorites.

Instead of having a wedding cake, Tina and Patrick opted to have hundreds of desserts delivered from their favorite bakery.

This humorous moment was captured by Micah.

Micah nailed this shot so perfectly.

The fun portraits.

Thank you Tina, Patrick and family for this opportunity to be a part of an awesome celebration. Hope you guys had a wunderbar time in Hawaii :)

Just because!

Just want to drop in to say “Happy Hump Day!”.   The last couple of months has been crazy/busy for me but also very exciting. I am down to about five weddings on my to-process list.  Just coming up for a little air.  Here is one of my recent favorite images that I want to leave you guys with.

Sae Hee and Bobby…engaged.

Last Thursday I had a great e-session with Sae Hee and Bobby. We met at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach. Although shy at first, they both came around just in time for some awesome portraits. Sae Hee and Bobby have this beautiful connection between them that I can only hope to capture within these frames. Enjoy their teaser!

The Boys!

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of tagging along at a wedding with two cool dudes that go by the name of Ray and Erwin.   If you guys don’t already know who they are…..well you should.  They are wedding and portrait photographer extraordinares who are responsible for the superb Apertura Photography.   These guys really set the bar high for the wedding photography industry.  Thank you for having me and for showing me a few cool tricks.  You guys are not only insanely talented but also very down to earth and humble.   Stay cool!

Ceejay & Boj…Calamigos Ranch, Malibu.

Ceejay & Boj had an awesome wedding day at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. Everything went super well with the direction of wedding coordinator Melinda Barajas. Honestly, I could not be more lucky to have them as my clients. They are among the sweetest and cutest people that I’ve ever met. Since day one, we just clicked in that very special way. I just knew that when the day comes that we would be sharing an amazing day together. And I was absolutely right. There were so many great images that it was so hard for me to choose so I decided to post them all. Get ready for another long teaser.

This is adorable Riley, Ceejay and Boj’s baby girl.

Ceejay looked so beautiful and radiant.

This image really touches me.

The happy couple.

Finally, it’s time to loosen up.

A kiss under a tree.

The best man caught the special edition Lakers’ garter.

Ceejay and Boj…thank you so much for being so awesome and for believing in me. I hope that I have captured something truly special for you. May you live well! Laugh often! Love much!

Jennifer & Travis…La Jolla

Jennifer & Travis couldn’t have picked a better day for their wedding. The weather was absolute gorgeous in La Jolla. They had a beautiful ceremony at the Wedding Bowl with friends and family. They also had a small but cozy reception at Georges at The Cove. Here is a little teaser.

The secret service were in town :)

Good looking girls united.

Too cute!

And of course this is my absolute favorite of the day.

I love the modern colors and design of their cake.

For all the guys who are thinking about proposing to your girlfriends, you have my permission to use this :)

Leilanie & Galen Married

Leilanie and Galen got married on June 21st, 2008. Although we were in the midst of a heat wave, Leilanie and Galen somehow kept their cool all day. We started the day in Carlsbad where Leilanie and her bridesmaids got ready. Livi came out to second shoot with me on this special occasion.

A bridesmaid going over her speech.

I really like this image of Leilanie and the girls.

Galen lookin’ good.

…and the posse.

Leilanie posing for a picture right before the ceremony.

What a cutie.

After the ceremony at the church, we all headed back to Galen’s house in Irvine for their tea ceremony. Here is one of the gifts from Galen’s mom given to Leilanie.

Then some marriage advices to follow.

The big entrance.

A beautiful and touching moment between Leilanie and her father during a toast.

Galen being roasted by the best man.

Father & daughter’s dance.

Then midway through a slow song, they broke into a swing number. It was great!

Another one of my favorites.

Leilanie had this do-you-know-what-I-am-thinking-look in her eyes.

Then she proceeded to show Galen.

Congratulation guys! It was such a pleasure spending the day with you, your family and friends.
