Last Thursday I had a great e-session with Sae Hee and Bobby. We met at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach. Although shy at first, they both came around just in time for some awesome portraits. Sae Hee and Bobby have this beautiful connection between them that I can only hope to capture within these frames. Enjoy their teaser!

Jenny & Ben…Engaged at LAX
Jenny and Ben…well more like Ben
wanted to do their engagement session at a real castle with a bridge. But since there were no real castle in Los Angeles, our plan B was to head out to LAX. In a way it was like a castle with high towers and bridges and also it was on my “location to shoot at” list. So we met up at one of the parking structures and hung out for the whole session. The weatherman said there was a 20% shower during the day but luckily the sun came out just in time.

Alice & Brandon Engaged
Last Sunday I had an awesome time hanging out with Alice and Brandon for a few hours. They are two of the coolest and sweetest people on the planet. Therefore, being their photographer was such a pleasure. We spend most of our time relaxing, talking, driving, snapping pictures and hanging out along Pacific Coast Highway. At the end of the day, we came away with some of my most favorite engagement images. Many thanks to Alice and Brandon for making the day so enjoyable. Here is a teaser!

I’ve been looking forward to shooting Dana and JD’s engagement session since the first day we’ve met. We just seem to click in so many ways. Dana and JD had a very clear idea of what they wanted to do for the engagement shoot. Finally, this past Sunday we went down to the LA Union Station to execute some ideas. I must admit we had so much fun running around LA to grab these shots. It just felt like we were on a short road trip. Here are some of my favorites.
This is our new friend Rocket. We met him while shooting in the subway. Rocket is absolutely adorable in person and a sweet English gentleman.
Dana and JD, you guys are such troopers. Thank you and I look forward to your wedding in October.
I met up with Jennifer and Travis at The Mission in San Juan Capistrano for an e-session on Saturday. Although it was overcast day, there were quite a few couples that were also there getting their e-sessions done. Every where we turned, there were photographers and couples setting up shots. Therefore, we opt to stay clear from the main paths and kept our session on the back side of The Mission.
Rumor has it that Travis has this tickle spot on his ear. So Jennifer volunteered to do a demonstration.

My favorite shot of the day.
…ooh smokin’.
Just a random shot of the Mission as we were leaving.
Jennifer and Travis, it was a pleasure sharing the day with you. See you guys in June at your wedding.
It was a perfect Saturday. We went down to the Fun Zone in Newport Beach for an E-session. Mary and Phi were so easy and so much fun to be around. They were down for everything that I had planned for them. Here are some photos to prove it.
…so, so sweet.
Usually, I would steer clear from jumping shots. However, Mary and Phi had assured me that they are professional jumpers therefore I had to see it for myself
.
We had so much fun on the E-session that I wouldn’t really mind doing it again. Oh well, we’re going to have to pick it up again in November at the wedding

Amy & Patrick Engagement
Happy New Year everyone! After a few weeks of corresponding over the phone and via email that I finally got to meet Amy and Patrick. Amy and Patrick were very relax and funny loving, therefore, we hit it off right away. Although it was a rather cold day in December at the beach these two love birds shrugged it off like it’s nothing. Well, it helps that Patrick is actually from Chicago. These guys are going to get marry in Chicago in September 2008 and I am so regretful for not being able to photograph their wedding due to previous booking. Here is a little teaser from their session.
Someone told me it looks like they are walking on the moon or…just moonwalking
